Fuengirola is home to a mix of nationalities and is ideal for families.
There's a fine sea front with loads of great places to eat and drink,
including bars, cafés and chiringuitos. Away from the sandy 8 km.
stretch of beaches, there is the main plaza which has recently been rebuilt
with pleasant pedestrian-friendly streets and lots of surrounding green
areas and fountains.
Having long been a tourist destination, Fuengirola boasts,
multi-lingual schools, theatres, cinemas and churches. The amount and
quality of shops has also increased within the town, as well as on the
outskirts with the recent construction of the shopping centre Parque Miramar
and Corte Ingles.
