Andalucia located in the south of spain covers 17.3% of Spanish territory, 87,268 kmē in total, making it
the largest single region within spain and larger than Austria.
Costa del Sol is a land of contrast. This is seen first and formost in
the diversity of the landscape. From the warm Guadalquivir valley, to
leafy low mountain areas, from volcanic landscapes such as the Tabernas
Desert to the white peaks of Sierra Nevada.
Andalucia is becoming a modern community, with the Costa del Sol at
the forefront, equipped with a good infrastructure and is continuously
being updated and improved. Even with this drive to build and improve,
Costa del Sol still maintains its ancient and venerable traditions so that
this “melting pot of cultures”, is bound to remain an a unique and
beautiful culture for years to come.
