Airport

In Andalusia there are international airports in Málaga, Almeria, Sevilla, Jerez and Granada. Gibraltar may also be convenient for people travelling to Western Andalucia. It should be noted though, there are no local flights from Gibraltar into Southern Spain.
Málaga airport is especially convenient with regular connections all over Europe and a large selection of low cost carriers. It is the primary airport used by a majority of travellers to and from Southern Spain. Business people as well as holidaymakers head for Malaga and the Costa del Sol. With this in mind, Malaga Airport offers all the facilities needed for business meetings in the VIP rooms.
Construction has also been started to further modernize and increase the capacity of the Málaga airport. This has involved the creation of a new terminal aswell as a car park extension.
Málaga airport is one of three airports in Spain that can accomodate the new long distance Airbus A380.
There is an excellent train service linking Malaga Airport to Malaga city to the East and Fuengirola to the West.
